Capitol AI has taken a significant step in its UK and European expansion with the appointment of Mike Nayler as Vice President of Go-To-Market (GTM) for the region.

Nayler will lead the company’s newly established UK office, overseeing regional growth strategy, customer engagement, and market development across the UK and Europe. His appointment reflects Capitol AI’s accelerating momentum and its intent to deepen its presence in markets where demand for secure, enterprise-grade AI is rapidly increasing.

Nayler brings a blend of public sector experience and global enterprise leadership to the role. Having served across multiple UK Government agencies, and later held senior positions spanning development and defence at Lockheed Martin, as well as roles at Dell and AWS.

This combination positions him to navigate both the commercial and regulatory complexities of deploying advanced AI systems in highly sensitive environments, an increasingly important factor for organisations across Europe.

At Capitol AI, Nayler will focus on scaling the UK-based team, expanding the company’s customer base, and supporting organisations seeking secure, model-agnostic AI solutions. He will also lead engagement with EU institutions and enterprises where governance, data sovereignty, and security are central to AI adoption.

Capitol’s strong 2025 performance continues into 2026 with the appointment of Nayler, supported by a series of other senior hires aimed at strengthening product, engineering, and partnership capabilities. Recent appointments include Gabe Martin (VP of Partnerships, formerly JPMorgan and Coursera), Rama Veeraragoo (Principal Product Manager, formerly Credit Suisse and Stripe), and Chester Leung (VP of Engineering, formerly Facebook).

Commenting on his new role, Nayler said:

In the race to adopt transformational AI infrastructure, the UK and Europe require value-driven solutions. When the stakes are high, the correct decision becomes non-negotiable. I’m thrilled to join Capitol AI because we are uniquely positioned to meet that need. I’m excited to work with existing and future customers looking to turn data into intelligence. Our platform brings them that combination of governance and power"
